Bebe Rexha Kicks Out Concertgoers for Throwing Objects at Wisconsin Show

Written by on June 3, 2024

Bebe Rexha has a zero tolerance policy for throwing things at her after suffering an injury as a result last year.

The “I’m a Mess” singer was performing in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Saturday when she paused her show to have concertgoers escorted out, after she realized they were throwing things onstage.

In clips shared across social media, the 34-year-old songstress stops the music and guides venue security to the people responsible from the stage.

“Out, out,” she can be heard saying from the stage. “Or if you want to hit me in the face, I pressed charges to the other guy — I would love to become richer. So go right ahead.”

She quickly added, “I’m not inviting that, please, I’m just joking. It was a joke.”

As the concertgoers were taken out, other members of the audience cheered.

The incident happened almost a year after Rexha was injured after she was struck in the face with a cellphone during a show in New York City last June, and had to be taken to the hospital as a result.

At the time, the NYPD confirmed to ET that Nicolas Malvagna from Manalapan, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with felony assault for allegedly hitting Rexha with the cellphone. The complaint stated that Malvagna told police, “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”

Following the incident, the “Meant to Be” singer shared a picture on social media showcasing her injury.

“I’m good,” alongside a photo of her swollen, black-and-blue eye with a cut just below her eyebrow.

Rexha went on to continue her Best F*n Night of My Life Tour that summer.
