‘General Hospital’ Star Kate Mansi Is Engaged to Matt McInnis — See the Ring

General Hospital star Kate Mansi is engaged!
Her fiancé, Matt McInnis, announced the news on Instagram on Thursday.
“Apparently today is a holiday, but I think July 3rd was even better,” McInnis said of his proposal just before the Fourth of July holiday.
In the photo, the producer bends down to kiss Mansi’s forehead. As McInnis holds her in his arms, the 36-year-old actress rests her left hand on McInnis’ chest, with her ring finger that’s adorned with a shiny new rock clearly visible. The background is a scenic view of a majestic mountain and towering trees, making for a beautiful place to pop the question.
“LGM(atty),” the bride-to-be commented.
LGM stands for “Let’s Get Married.” Mansi wrote the same phrase on her Instagram Story, showing off her emerald-cut engagement ring with a silver band.
Messages of congratulations filled McInnis’ comment section.
“😻🥳🎉💕🥹😭🙌,” The 100 alum Eliza Taylor commented.
“The best news to ever hit the internet !!!!!” wrote Kristen Vaganos, Mansi’s General Hospital co-star.
“The caption, the ring, the couple, I love it all! Congrats you two! ❤️,” commented actress Hannah Masi Helwani.
McInnis is best known for his production work on Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Witcher: Blood Origin.
Ahead of the surprise engagement, Mansi — who was previously married to Blake Levin — told Soap Opera Digest that she was planning on celebrating Independence Day with a lowkey trip with friends in nature.
“I’ll be heading to a cabin to get in some much-needed nature time with my closest friends,” she told the outlet in an article released on Wednesday.
Mansi hasn’t been hiding her relationship with McInnis. He’s been featured on several of her Instagram posts, including one in August where they could be seen enjoying a safari trip together.
