Will it be a wedding to remember or something they’ll all want to forget?

Viewers will be the judge come Sept. 5, when The Perfect Couple — based on Elin Hilderbrand’s murder mystery novel of the same name — hits Netflix. The streamer released the first teaser for the upcoming limited series on Thursday and judging by Dakota Fanning‘s character’s foreboding advice, viewers are up for quite the thrill ride. As she puts it in the trailer, “The key to this family is to just stay on the periphery where it’s safe.”

The project, directed by Susanne Bier with showrunner Jenna Lamia,  is set to also star Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Jack Reynor, Ishaan Khatter, Sam Nivola, Michael Beach, Donna Lynne Champlin, Mia Isaac, and Isabelle Adjani, as well as The White Lotus‘ Meghann Fahy, who is back for another drama riddled with secrets.

As for the death at the center of this mystery, a body is found on the beach in the midst of Amelia Sacks’ (Hewson) wedding weekend to Benji Winbury (Howle), the son of famed novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman).

“As secrets come to light,” Netflix’s synopsis reads, “the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.”

Judging by the teaser, matters are bound to get testy. As the bride’s friend, Merritt Monaco (Fahy), plainly warns in the clip, “I see you, bitch.”

This marks Kidman’s latest Netflix project following her rom-com, A Family Affair, which reunited her with former co-star Zac Efron. It also put her on a project with a favorite actress of her and Keith Urban’s daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret: Joey King

“They really fangirl over Joey,” the Big Little Lies star told ET at the June premiere. “Which is nice, right? They’ve grown up with Joey.”
