Darren Criss and Wife Mia Swier Welcome Baby No. 2

Darren Criss and Mia Swier have welcomed their second child!
On Thursday, the Glee star, 37, and his film producer wife took to Instagram to announce the birth of their baby boy, Brother László Criss, born on June 3. Sharing a sweet snap of the new addition to their family, the actor posed the newborn with sunglasses over his eyes and an adorable smile on his face.
“M & D just delivered their follow-up single. ⭐️ Brother László Criss ⭐️,” Criss captioned the post, adding the baby’s arrival date. “🎶 Out now. 🎶 … and yes his first name is Brother 💛.”
In the picture, Brother’s older sister, 2-year-old Bluesy Belle, holds the sunglasses over her sibling’s face as the baby can be seen swaddled in a wrap with Star Wars‘ R2-D2 on it.
The post is reminiscent of the couple’s first baby announcement, which they wrote to look like musicians announcing a new song or album. “M & D made some sweet music,” Criss wrote back in April 2022. “🎶 Bluesy Belle Criss 🎶 4/11/22 💙 Out now. 💙.”
In the comments below the post sharing the news of their baby boy’s arrival, their famous friends sent congratulations to Criss and his wife — who wed in 2019.
“Congratulations 😭😭😭,” wrote Kevin McHale, who played Artie in Glee.
“Yeeeeesssss! So happy for you growing Family!! Love you all!” responded Matthew Morrison, the actor who played Mr. Shue in the series.
“Congrats fam! 🔥,” added Rachel Brosnahan, star of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel — which Criss appeared in briefly in 2023.
Back in December, the couple announced they were expecting baby No. 2 in a hilarious post on Instagram, where they photoshopped themselves onto the poster for Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again. They also added photos of two positive pregnancy tests to confirm the news.
“And COMING SOON…let’s hope the sequel is better than the photoshop ✌️🤪 ‼️” he wrote.
In 2022, after the birth of Bluesy Belle, Criss spoke with ET about fatherhood changing his life and his approach to acting.
“It’s beautiful,” Criss said in June 2022. “Beauty begets beauty.”
